Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team within our 48 bedded Nursing Home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. This role requires a thorough understanding of medication administration and anatomy, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects. Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments, vital sign monitoring, and documentation of patient progress. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies. Maintain accurate records of patient information and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards. Assist in the management of medical equipment and ensure the cleanliness of the clinical environment. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in nursing care.

Qualifications

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and procedures. Proven experience in providing exceptional patient care within a clinical setting. Solid understanding of human anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving and critical thinking skills are essential.
