Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Nursing Home healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality nursing care to residents in our care home. Your role will involve delivering person-centered care to elderly residents, including those with dementia, physical disabilities, and other complex health conditions, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, administering medications, and delivering comprehensive nursing care.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and document findings accurately. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in patient conditions. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management, medication usage, and post-discharge care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. Proven experience in medication administration and patient care within a clinical setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of nursing practice. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
