Staff Nurse - Haematology/Oncology



Location: Private Care at Guy's, London (Part of London Bridge Hospital)



Full time - 37.5 hours per week

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse with experience in oncology or haematology nurse to join our outstanding cancer nursing team at Private Care at Guy's. part of London Bridge Hospital and rated Outstanding by the CQC, you will be part of a team delivering cutting-edge treatments in a setting that combines advanced clinical practice with genuine compassion and care. You'll work alongside leading consultants, in a collaborative environment where learning and innovation are part of daily practice.


Our 21-bed inpatient haematology/oncology ward, located within our state-of-the-art cancer centre at Guy's, provides care for patients across a wide spectrum - including those undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, stem cell transplant, and palliative treatments. Patients range from those with complex solid tumour cancers to blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.


Whether you are already working in cancer care or looking to take that next step, this role offers exceptional support and professional development. For nurses new to oncology or haematology, we will provide full training and fund your SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy) passport, enabling you to become a qualified chemotherapy giver and build a future in this specialised field.


We also welcome applications from nurses with a minimum of two years' post-registration experience in a UK-based medical or surgical setting, who are ready to transition into specialist cancer care.

What you'll bring:



NMC Registration Haematology/Oncology experience preferable, but not essential NHS or Private Hospital experience
