Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, exceptional patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients across various settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to best practices and medical protocols.

Responsibilities



Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and document patient vital signs, progress, and responses to treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform procedures such as IV insertion, suturing, catheterization, and phlebotomy as needed. Participate in discharge planning and coordinate post-care services for patients. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in all clinical practices. Stay updated on current nursing practices, policies, and advancements in healthcare.

Skills


Candidates should possess a combination of the following skills:

Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks. Experience in critical care settings (ICU, PICU) or emergency medicine. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) and CPT coding for accurate medical documentation. Expertise in pain management strategies including acute pain management and palliative care. Experience with specialized populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities. Strong communication skills for effective patient education and family support. Ability to perform advanced nursing procedures such as dialysis, ventilator management, or ostomy care.
