ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Educational / Professional Qualifications:

1. RN Qualified.

2. Current Registration with the NMC.

3. Current driving licence

Experience:

1. At least one year of nursing experience;

2. Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care and act accordingly if untoward changes occur;

3. Male and female catheterisation.

4. Experience of recording accurate records;

5. Knowledge of medication rounds and the safe administration of medicines;

6. Practical experience of providing high quality care and exceeding expectations;

7. Demonstrates recent and relevant clinical updating in line with PREP (Post-Registration Education and Practice);

8. Have an understanding of the Professional Code of Conduct and accountability;

9. Awareness and understanding of National Minimum Care Standards Act and Royal Pharmaceutical Guidelines.

10. Evidence of personal continuing professional development;

11. Ability to motivate and work with a team of staff.

Job Types: Full time Night Nurse. Permanent

Salary: 20.50- per hour weekdays and 21.55 weekend

25% enhanced rate for extra hours.

12 x 10.75 hour shifts per 4 week rota
