Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role requires the ability to work in various settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing treatment protocols while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Duties



Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document medical histories. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusion and injections. Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans. Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention. Perform procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and specimen collection. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in triage and emergency situations within various healthcare environments. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Stay current with advancements in nursing practices and technologies.

Qualifications



Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Experience in acute care, critical care, or emergency medicine preferred. Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and NCQA standards is advantageous. Knowledge of aseptic techniques, infection control practices, and medication administration protocols. Experience working with diverse populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnosis evaluation, and care planning. Ability to perform specialized procedures such as dialysis, ventilator management, or pain management techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
