Job Description

Main duties and responsibilities Clinical Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care within an outpatient setting and when receiving patients for invasive procedures. Prepare, assemble, and check procedure room equipment to ensure safe planning of stock as necessary. Communication Act as a role model demonstrating high standards of holistic care and provide clinical leadership across the Trust for this specialist area. Contribute to the patient care pathway, ensuring timely referrals are made to members of the multidisciplinary and treatment teams.



This will include receiving direct referrals to the specialist nursing service from medical and nursing staff within the Trust. Education Take responsibility for own learning and development and contribute to Trust wide education and training. Assist in the delivery of formal and informal teaching initiatives as part of the Trusts education strategy as agreed with the appropriate senior nurse to ensure practice development and improved care for patients. Quality Manage and co-ordinate own workload and work within the limitations of own role escalating to more senior staff to maintain safe, quality care.
