About the Role

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated

Registered General Nurse (RGN)

to join a well-established nursing home in

Muir of Ord (IV6)

. This is a

full-time night shift

position, offering a supportive environment and a strong focus on delivering high-quality, person-centered care to elderly residents, including those with dementia and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high standards of nursing care in accordance with NMC guidelines and regulatory requirements. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents. Administer medications safely and accurately. Lead and support care staff to ensure the well-being of all residents during night shifts. Respond to medical emergencies and liaise with GPs, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Maintain clear, accurate documentation and reports. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements

Valid NMC registration

as a Registered General Nurse (RGN). Proven experience working in a care home or elderly care environment. Excellent clinical, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and confidently during night shifts. A caring, empathetic, and patient-focused approach.
