The Portland Hospital for Women & Children, London

Full time:

37.5 hours per week

Shifts:

Monday-Sunday (long days, nights & weekends)

We're looking for a Staff Nurse to join the Paediatric Neuro-rehab & Complex Care team at the Portland Hospital. Currently rated "Good" by the CQC, the Portland Hospital is UKs only private hospital dedicated to the healthcare needs of women and children.



The Portland Hospital is the only private hospital in the UK dedicated to the healthcare of women and children, caring for more than 40,000 children every year. We have a spacious, modern, 13 bed inpatient neurorehabilitation and complex care unit, equipped with the latest technology and cutting-edge treatment all of which is medically supported by our team of paediatric consultants.


The successful postholder will work as a skilled member of the nursing team, providing a high standard of holistic family centred care to children, young adults and families. You will be working to promote a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research, evidence based practice and the developmental of additional clinical skills in the speciality.

What you'll bring:



NMC Child Registered Nurse (RN Child / RSCN) with immediate paediatric life support Minimum 6 months' experience working within Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and complex care needs in a hospital setting Experience with tracheostomised patients is desirable Understanding of Safeguarding issues Excellent written and verbal communication
