We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supporting Keyworkers and Ancillary staff, and ensuring the well-being of residents in this family run nursing home . Duties
Provide comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities.
Assess residents conditions and develop personalised care plans in collaboration with the whole healthcare team.
Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, ensuring adherence to all relevant protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate resident records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
Support residents emotionally and physically, offering reassurance regarding their health conditions.
Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate effective treatment plans.
Ensure infection control procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
Stay updated with current medical practices and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
Requirements
Valid registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Proven experience within a social care setting.
Experience in supporting residents ranging from rehabilitation, complex health conditions and compassionate end of life care
Proficiency in medication administration, including understanding dosages and potential side effects.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills to support diverse resident needs.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
