An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN ) to join the team at:

Location: Ty Victoria , 97 Victoria Road, Waunarlwydd, Swansea SA5 4TB

Reporting to the Home Manager, the successful candidate will ensure the promotion of high standards of nursing care, by ensuring all staff is supervised appropriately and the shift runs in a smooth and efficient manner.

About You

Our ideal Registered Nurse candidate will have the following skills and values:

A nurse qualification (RMN) with a valid NMC pin number. Previous working experience in a Nursing Home environment is desirable but not essential. A committed and organized approach Excellent verbal and written communication skills Flexible to work shifts Experience working with people with dementia as well as a range of functional mental illnesses would be desirable.

Key Accountabilities:

To undertake and manage direct patient care, having participated fully in the assessment, planning and evaluation of care needs. Undertake the delivery of care, including individual and group sessions, to agreed quality standards as prescribed by internal procedures and health legislation. Adopt a systemic, individual approach to all patient care plans and communicate the outcomes to the clinical team both verbally and in writing, ensuring all CPA and risk assessment documentation is kept up to date. Ensure effective communication of any concerns relating to patient care Support and supervise new or junior staff. Manage the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of individual patient care plans while promoting a professional working environment to ensure a high standard of patient care.
