Staff Nurse
Job Description
Springhill Hospice is a 16 bedded adult hospice providing the highest standard of physical, psychological and emotional care to our patients with life limiting illnesses and also to their loved ones, in a safe, caring and holistic environment.
Where possible, patients are encouraged to maintain independence and to make informed choices whilst protecting their privacy and dignity. We offer advice and support from the time of referral throughout the illness and into the bereavement period.
We respect all cultural religious and personal beliefs placing the emphasis of care on an individual need basis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Staff Nurse, preferably with previous experience of caring for patients with palliative care needs, to work as part of an enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team in the Hospice's Inpatient Unit and Hospice at Home service.
We encourage all our staff to develop their knowledge and gain new skills in order to enhance the care of and support given to patients.
The posts are subject to flexible rostering (annualised hours) and internal rotation to meet the needs of the service

Pay: 29,767.00-37,938.00 per year
