The Role

Knowledge & Experience

Proven experience using SAP PM, with strong system administration skills. Qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to equipment reliability and maintenance. Solid background in

manufacturing or production environments

, preferably high-volume operations. In-depth understanding of

engineering and safety legislation

, ensuring full compliance. Familiarity with

engineering stores processes

, inventory control, and cost management.

Key Deliverables

Safety Leadership

: Champion and embed a strong safety culture aligned with Smurfit WestRock's ethos.

Preventive Maintenance Strategy

: Own and drive the site's PM and reliability strategy.

SAP Champion

: Ensure compliance, accuracy, and best practices in SAP usage.

TPM Initiatives

: Lead and manage Total Productive Maintenance programs.

Engineering Stores Management

: Oversee processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.

Auditing & Compliance

: Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to stores auditing requirements.

Asset Management

: Guarantee all site spares are logged in SAP and identified via QR codes.

Budget Control

: Monitor and manage the engineering stores budget effectively.

Maintenance Scheduling

: Deliver and manage weekly maintenance plans, prioritizing critical tasks.

CAPEX Projects

: Manage small capital projects from initiation through completion.

Legal Compliance

: Achieve 100% adherence to engineering compliance requirements and contractor control policies.

Performance Monitoring

: Track and report on machine downtime, risks, staff performance, and operational issues.

Support RCA (Root Cause Analysis)

: Development by defining trigger points for investigations.

Reliability:

Successfully complete the Smurfit Westrock Academy, applying best practices in reliability engineering to enhance asset performance and reduce downtime
