Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation and customer engagement while working in a welcoming setting. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customers have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, equipment, and seating spaces in accordance with food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts. Follow food safety regulations and health & safety procedures at all times. Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.

Requirements

Previous experience as a

Barista

or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of

food safety

standards and procedures is desirable. Experience with

serving

customers, handling transactions, and basic

food preparation

is advantageous. Good

time management

skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic

maths

skills for handling cash register operations accurately. Strong

food safety

awareness to maintain hygiene standards at all times. Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members.
