As the Statutory Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the head office finance team, collaborating closely with peers in finance, engaging with the Senior Leadership Team, the overseas Group finance team, and external auditors.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Completing annual financial statements in UK GAAP, incorporating group consolidation and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Producing subsidiary financial statements, ensuring adherence to applicable standards.
• Implementing IFRS accounting adjustments for monthly Group Reporting.
• Influencing and supervising the Group\'s accounting policies and procedures, including revenue recognition and acquisition consolidation.
• Providing technical support for new projects with accounting and finance implications.
• Managing relationships with the parent Finance Team and the Group\'s auditors.

Person Specification:

• Holds a professional accounting qualification and ideally educated to degree level.
• Brings experience from accounting practice or relevant fields.
• Possesses a working knowledge of developments in accounting standards (IFRS and UK GAAP) and corporate governance/reporting.
