to join our dedicated Staying Home Team. In this role, you'll carry out regular reviews, promoting independence, and responding to changing needs. Working closely with tenants, colleagues, and external partners, you'll help improve the quality of life for older and vulnerable tenants through tailored support.

What you'll be doing:
Assist in the lettings process of properties designated for older people.
Carry out tailored reviews every 6 months with residents or as and when personal circumstances change to identify interventions that will assist the tenant to remain safe at home.
To assist residents with sustaining their tenancy, responding to low level anti nuisance issues and liaising with the Safer Estates Team as required. Helping older people manage the safety and security of their dwelling using a case management approach including annual inspection of the condition of the property.
Utilise the OK Each Day Service to communicate with our tenants, whilst monitoring their safety through the agreed usage of the OK Each Day device.
Provide advice and guidance on applying for disability related benefits.
To complete welfare calls and personal visits based on assessed need.
Manage customer expectations of the service and provide clarity about the scope of your role.
Make referrals to specialist agencies such as Adult Social Care and Health to enable the tenant to access additional care and or support where required.
Promote safety and protection of vulnerable adults and children by ensuring that all safeguarding issues and concerns are reported promptly in accordance with Local Authorities and Torus Safeguarding Policies.
What we are looking for:
GCSE Grade 3+ or equivalent qualification/experience
CIH Level 3 (or willingness to work towards)
Experience in housing and/or social care
Track record of completing assessments and developing support plans with targets and outcomes for clients
Experience supporting older and vulnerable people
Basic knowledge of welfare benefits (55+)
Safeguarding knowledge and experience
Experience giving budgeting advice and planning
Proven case load management and multi-agency working
Experience with statutory and voluntary sector partners
Strong tenant relationship skills, including managing non-compliance
Interview Process:
Candidates will undergo in-person interviews, consisting of a competency-based interview w/c 10th November.
