Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Grill / Steak Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong emphasis on food safety and quality. As a Grill Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering delicious meals to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of Steaks and grilled items, ensuring all dishes are cooked to perfection and presented attractively. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Participate in kitchen clean-up duties at the end of each shift.

Requirements

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Previous experience as a Grill Chef or similar role is essential. A genuine passion for cooking and serving high-quality meals to customers. Pay: From 12.21 per hour
