Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Steel Erector

to join our forward-thinking team. This role is vital to our mission of constructing high-quality steel frameworks that enhance infrastructure and contribute to sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and erect steel structures and frameworks according to detailed engineering drawings and specifications. Safely control lifting equipment such as cranes and hoists to position steel components accurately. Ensure steel parts are aligned, levelled, and secured using bolting, welding, or other appropriate methods. Conduct precise site measurements to guarantee accurate fitment of components. Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met with quality and efficiency. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring safe and effective operation. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols, supporting DPL's commitment to sustainability and a safe work environment. Embody DPL's values of trust, innovation, and eco-conscious practices in all aspects of your work.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience as a Steel Erector or a related role in construction. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications. Skilled in the use of construction tools and equipment, including welding and rigging tools. Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and regulations. Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Certifications in welding, rigging, or similar disciplines are a plus. Driving license CSCS card
