Duties

Fabricate parts and assemblies according to technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using appropriate fabrication methods Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to standards Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations Assist in the development of new fabrication processes or improvements to existing methods Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project requirements

Experience

Strong knowledge of welding standards and practices Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Experience working with sheet metal and mechanical assembly processes Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and measurements Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments Familiarity with fabrication techniques such as cutting, bending, and assembly of metal parts

Pay: 13.09-16.55 per hour
