About the Role:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Steelfixer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, bending, tying, and fixing steel to reinforce concrete structures, working to engineering drawings and site specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret working plans, drawings, and specifications. Cut, bend, and fix steel reinforcement bars and mesh. Tie rebar using hand tools and mechanical tying equipment. Ensure all reinforcement is placed accurately and securely before concrete pours. Follow site health & safety procedures at all times. Work effectively with site supervisors, engineers, and concrete teams.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Steelfixer on construction projects. Valid CSCS Card (Blue or above preferred). Ability to read and work from technical drawings. Good knowledge of health & safety practices. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team. Own tools (desirable).
