Enforce strict health and safety compliance, including RAMS, LOLER/PUWER inspections, inductions, and permit-to-work requirements
Conduct and record weekly safety inspections and proactively maintain clean, hazard-free site environments
Ensure all installation work complies with ITPs and project quality standards, reporting non-conformances to the Operations Manager
Maintain clear and consistent communication between site teams, clients, and internal stakeholders
Oversee resource allocation, material deliveries, and equipment usage to ensure project efficiency
Record daily activities including timesheets, deliveries, variations, and progress updates
Monitor programme progress, flag delays or risks early, and work with the Operations Manager to adjust plans as required
Identify and report any variations from scope, design changes, or client-directed works for commercial action
Support conflict resolution on-site and provide practical solutions to challenges in real-time
Promote DPL's values and reputation through professional conduct and a commitment to quality execution
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience in supervising structural steel installation or similar construction projects
Strong understanding of site-based health and safety protocols, including RAMS, LOLER, PUWER, and CDM regulations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, method statements, and quality documentation
Excellent organisation, leadership, and communication skills
