Qualifications and Experience Levels:
Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
Previous industry experience is desirable
Experience of working with assemblies is desirable
Experience of working to production targets is desirable

Working to strict safety and quality requirements, help to achieve daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity to meet customer expectations and requirements, optimising efficiency and maintaining operational excellence. Perform many operations within the process with some supervision.
After continued increase in demand, as well as an internal promotion, our Operations Team has a vacancy for an Assembly Operator to join our team. You will be primarily working in our Steering Rack Assembly Team and reporting to the Assembly Lead.
This role would suit an experienced individual that is familiar with production environments, enjoys a challenge and who thrives working in a busy and proactive organisation. So, if the idea of working in a challenging and fast paced role sounds perfect for you, we have that role available.

Key Responsibilities:
Fully assembly steering racks
Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks
Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and machinery
Report equipment faults to Area Supervisor
Build up components and sub-assemblies into finished products
Make quality control checks on products
Ensure products are to the correct tolerances and meet customer and internal standards and specifications
Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
