Job Description

We are looking for a Sterilisation Technician to carry out inspection, washing, sterilisation & decontamination, assembling, packing, wrapping of reusable surgical instruments and medical devices, using manual and mechanical techniques, in line with our Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

Carry out inspection, washing, packing and wrapping of surgical instruments Carry out daily testing and housekeeping where required Lift and manoeuvre instrument trays and baskets
Experience in dental sterilisation is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

Full time and part time positions available, please indicate your preference when applying.

Wage:

7.55 - 12.21 per hour

Part Time Hours:

24.00

Monday: 7:45 - 4:15pm (30 minute lunch period)
Wednesday,: 7:45 - 4:15pm (30 minute lunch period)
Thursday: 7:45 - 4:15pm (30 minute lunch period)

We are a mixed NHS & Private Dental practice, also providing dental implants and facial aesthetic treatments.

We have been awarded the Tier 2 Oral Surgery contract and the nurses work alongside our Maxillo Oral & Facial Consultant, Mr Anjum.

Seventy one dental is purpose built, with spacious, light, modern treatment rooms and staff facilities.
