We help people feel like themselves again. With understanding, care, and expertise, our specialist wig consultants and stylists guide each person through their hair journey with compassion and confidence -- because feeling good begins with feeling understood.
Beginning
Browns began with one simple purpose: to help people regain confidence after hair loss. For decades, we've supported patients with compassion and professionalism -- providing not just hair loss solutions, but reassurance, understanding, and hope.
Today, our service connects people across the UK to tailored hair loss solutions, delivered by a caring team who genuinely want to make a difference.
Where we're at
Behind every appointment, every consultant, and every fitting is a stock operation that keeps our service running smoothly. From wigs and accessories to brand updates and supplier communication, our Product team ensures our patients and consultants always have what they need -- when they need it.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Stock Administrator who brings organisation, accuracy, and curiosity to a role that sits at the heart of our operations.
Next Chapter
This isn't just a back-office stock role -- it's a vital part of ensuring patients receive the right product at the right time.
You'll keep our stock data accurate, manage product setup, coordinate weekly ordering, and maintain strong supplier relationships. You'll track movement across multiple locations, support stock checks, and act as a key link between Operations, Finance, Buying, and our brand partners.
If you're someone who loves detail, stays calm under pressure, and enjoys making systems run smoothly, this could be the perfect next step.
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for keeping our stock information accurate, up to date, and aligned with patient and business needs.
You'll be:
Advise the team on required product alternatives and manage wigs in stock along with ad hoc stock requests.
Be mindful of and query requests involving high-purchase-price brands and real hair options.
Liaise with branded suppliers to update range plans, confirm order quantities and timescales, improve fulfilment, and negotiate pricing.
Work with the accounts team to resolve pricing and quantity queries.
Assist with internal stock checks across locations as directed.
Set up products, core stock levels, and product price lists.
Monitor stock movement and turnover, updating core stock holdings on Zenoti by location as required.
Ensure stock ordered for requirements is returned if not needed.
Collaborate with the buying team to capture feedback and requirements on the Browns product range.
Dispatch and assist with the receipting of Browns stock deliveries as required.
What we're looking for
You don't need to meet every requirement, but ideally you'll have:
Experience in a stock, admin, or operations role (around 2+ years).
Strong organisational and time-management skills -- especially when handling detailed tasks.
Confidence communicating with suppliers, internal teams, and colleagues across departments.
Comfortable using tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and (ideally) Access.
An eye for detail with a naturally inquisitive, analytical mindset.
Ability to remain calm, patient, and diplomatic in complex or pressured situations.
Awareness of GDPR and general H&S responsibilities.
A proactive approach and eagerness to improve processes where possible.
What you'll get from us
A supportive, values-led team who genuinely care about the work they do.
28 days holiday (pro-rata - including bank holidays), increasing by one day for every full year with us (up to 5 extra days).
Healthcare and pension from day one.
2 volunteering days per year to support causes important to you.
Ongoing development opportunities and training.
A role where the work you do directly contributes to helping people feel like themselves again.
The important bit
We know confidence looks different on everyone -- and that goes for job applications too. If you think this sounds like your kind of role but you don't tick every single box, we'd still love to hear from you.
Show us what you can bring to Browns. Let's talk.
