As a stock assistant, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive inventory team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target-driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.
Responsibilities:
Assist with tasks carried out within the Inventory department, QC, returns and Perpetual stock counting.
You will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted & reconciled accurately in all units.
You must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time as required for this role and access equipment may have to be used to reach high stock
Moving stock around by hand, using lifting gear
Maintain cleanliness in work areas to ensure a safe and organised environment.
From time to time, you may be required to support other departments within the business
Skills and Experience Required:
At least 1 years' experience working in a warehouse environment.
Good numeracy and literacy skills are required
A calm, level-headed approach
Extremely motivated
Heavy lifting and manual handling
A good head for heights, scissor lift training will be provided
