The Role
You will play a key part in ensuring stock data is accurate and up to date across internal systems, customer interfaces, partner platforms, and third-party warehouse integrations. Working closely with the Demand Planning and Logistics teams, you will help maintain visibility and control across the supply chain, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Accurately keying and processing customer orders
Producing and maintaining back-order and weekly stock reports
Monitoring and maintaining correct stock levels
Managing cancellations on customer orders due to factory shortages
Responding to stock queries from colleagues and customers
Liaising with suppliers to ensure delivery schedules are met
Communicating with customers via email (and occasionally by phone)
Importing orders into shipping container cards
Collaborating with Demand Planning and Logistics teams to ensure stock requirements are fulfilled
Skills and Experience
No prior stock or operations experience is required -- full training will be provided.
However, the following skills and qualities are desirable but not essential:
Strong organisational and time management skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Confidence with basic IT systems (Excel, Word, order processing software)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A proactive and problem-solving approach
