Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and reliable stock condition surveyor to join our growing team. However, this role could also be suitable for individuals looking for a

. A practical or property-related background would be advantageous, but formal surveying qualifications are not required, as full training will be provided.

This is a field-based role requiring extensive travel, and applicants must be comfortable spending significant time on the road.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out stock condition surveys on residential properties Completing surveys digitally using a company-provided tablet Accurately recording property condition, defects, key data and hazards Completing an

average of 10 surveys per day

Managing your own schedule and travel efficiently

Travel Requirement (Important)

This role involves

regular nationwide travel

Most work locations will typically be

within a couple of hours' drive from South London

, though travel further afield will be required at times.

Recent survey locations have included:

Manchester Norwich Colchester Portsmouth Various areas in Surrey
If you do not enjoy travelling or working away from home, this role may not be suitable.

What We're Looking For:

Happy and confident travelling extensively across the UK Organised, punctual, and detail-oriented Comfortable working independently and confident with 'door knocking' Basic IT skills (full training provided on survey software) Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Contract Type:

This is a

self-employed position only

. Applicants must be comfortable working on a freelance basis and responsible for their own tax, insurance, and expenses.

Wages are paid monthly.

Pay: 40,000.00-70,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
