My job
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Stock Chargehand to join our team and ensure all raw material stock within all areas is available for the production team.
Location: Andover
Pay: Weekly Competitive pay rate
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 7:00 - 16:00 - and every other Saturday 07:00 - 12:00
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe, clean & tidy working environment for the team and other colleagues within the raw material storage areas
• Use of both company and generic IT systems as required to complete the daily workload
• Move stock to picking locations ready for production and ensure that stock rotation procedures are followed
• Work closely with the production team (primal and retail) in managing storage space and storage locations.
• Ensure that at all times stock is clearly identified and fully traceable
• To carry out other duties that may reasonably be requested of you to ensure the efficient running of the business
• Support and seek opportunities within any projects to reduce waste, maximize recycling and reduction of the carbon footprint of the site

What You Need:

• Able to drive an electric pallet truck
• Previous experience in a similar role is required
• Experience within the food industry is advantageous
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Ability to deal confidently with numbers
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to think on their feet and solve problems
• Excellent organisational skills including the ability to multitask
• Ability to work in an organised and methodical way
