Essential Criteria:
1. At least 1 years experience of completing stock takes.
2.Forklift/combi lift truck experience.
3. Picking and packing experience.
Job Type:
1. Full-time, with a permanent position becoming available after the probationary period ends.
2. Daytime hours, Monday - Friday.
3.This position requires an immediate start.
4. Having the ability to carry out the above in accordance with our Quality and Health & Safety standards.
Key Tasks and Duties:
1. Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and components.
2. Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or digital systems.
3. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
4. Implement and maintain a system for labelling and identifying inventory items.
5. Load and unload deliveries and safely relocate the goods to their designated storage areas.
6. Inspect incoming materials for quality and conformity to specifications.
7. Identify and report any damaged or non-conforming items for corrective action.
8. Issue materials and components to assembly teams based on production schedules and 9. requirements.
10. Performing safety checks on the forklift, such as checking the brakes, lights, and steering, to ensure it is in good working condition.
11. Load and unload the sub assembly lines with production parts.
12. Communicating with other workers and supervisors in the sub assembly area to coordinate tasks and ensure that materials are moved efficiently and safely.
13. Transport completed products to the designated despatch zone.
14. Safely stack and unstack large quantities of goods onto racks, shelves, or pallets.
15. Reporting any mechanical problems with the forklift or other equipment to a supervisor.
16. Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and productivity.
17. Any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by your supervisor or manager.
