About the Role:

The Stock Controller role holds immense significance in maintaining impeccable standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the process of receiving, storing, and controlling materials. By doing so, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely customer order fulfillment and adherence to legislative and accreditation mandates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently overseeing stock items utilising cost-effective storage methods
  • Ensuring adherence to stock management timelines for optimised control
  • Serving as a role model for upholding top-notch quality and organisational standards
  • Collaborating closely with the Site Operations Manager to prioritise tasks and address concerns
  • Handling the prompt receipt, inspection, sampling, recording, and storage of delivered goods
  • Applying effective stock rotation techniques to ensure the first-in, first-out (FIFO) usage of raw materials
  • Swiftly reporting and documenting any discrepancies for timely resolution of supplier inquiries
  • Organising materials in a tidy manner in alignment with accreditation standards
  • Conducting thorough stock-taking exercises and conducting investigations into discrepancies
  • Taking proactive measures to identify and replenish low stock levels
  • Carrying out usage reconciliations for feedstuffs
  • Upholding a strong commitment to safety protocols at all times
  • Maintaining open communication with fellow team members
  • Contributing actively to broader site objectives as dictated by business needs
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience of warehouse operations, stock control and goods inwards
  • Ability to communicate and co-operate effectively with staff across the business
  • An understanding of the requirements of the site\xe2\x80\x99s accreditations
  • Forklift licence holder
