The Ideal Person



We have an opportunity available for a reliable and well-organised Stock Controller to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations and control of our stores and stock, ensuring materials and equipment are readily available to support the smooth delivery of our HVAC projects. Reporting to our Central Procurement Manager. It is imperative that you have initiative, have a methodical approach to your daily tasks along with a willingness to grow, expanding knowledge and experience within the role involved with our Heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning operations.

The contract offered will be for a full-time, permanent position that includes a 3-month probation period. Your core working hours will be Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 1:15pm (38 hours) but occasional earlier starts/finish will be expected.

The Role



Compiling daily reports, report to Central Procurement Manager.

Check stock levels regularly and report any deficiencies in products or raw materials.

Control, maintain, and storage of products, materials, tools, loss prevention.

Updating and maintaining accurate stock inventory on computerised system, identify inventory discrepancies.

Receive & dispatch goods, in alignment with purchase orders.

Use own initiative, prioritise workload based on business needs to maximise productivity.

Adhere to company Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental requirements.

Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining store equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

Maintain relationships with suppliers.

Perform general warehouse, housekeeping and maintenance duties ensuring smooth operation of the stores.

Review and report on key store metrics (e.g., sales, transactions, usage, condition) to ensure continuous improvement.

Implement store procedures to ensure compliance with ISO standards.

The above list not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be required to perform different tasks due to the varied role within the organisation.

Skills, Qualifications & Requirements



Highly organised, ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast paced environment meeting deadlines of tasks. Proficient computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft software package. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. Honest, with good work ethic. Previous experience in a similar role ideal, but not essential as full training will be provided. Forklift training (preferred, but not essential as training can be arranged). Basic cleaning and maintenance skills beneficial to this role. UK Drivers Licence to include Category C1 (preferred, but not essential)
Planned start date: ASAP

Salary Offered: 25,000 - 30,000 (will depend on level of experience)
