Job Description

Our machinery is highly versatile and can be used for a wide range of groundwork applications. In a similar way, our staff must be highly versatile and be prepared to pitch in, we are a team who value and respect each other and we are looking for a Stock Controller / Spare Parts Co-ordinator at our Northampton head office to support our customers and Service Manager.



Overview -

The primary focus of the Stock Controller position is to control our stock, parts and spares. You will report into the service manager but will work with minimal supervision. Additional key elements of the role will be to,

Receive and Process spare parts orders from customer and our service team

Take responsibility for goods in/out, be the first to respond to delivery/collection arrivals

Oversee tracking and stock control of all serialised items

Ensure the quality and accuracy of all deliveries, ensuring the correct items and quantities are delivered

Unloading and loading using mechanical handling equipment, as required

Quoting customers as required

Training & Development

- Extensive training will be given in all aspects of our products, suppliers, and existing stock management processes and systems. Our senior team will also provide ongoing support to ensure a smooth introduction to the business.

Person Requirements -

Ideally you will be an experienced materials handler / warehouse operative /stores co-ordinator / inventory manager with a proven track record in stock management or spare parts management, ideally this will be in an engineering setting with large machinery or capital equipment.

The ideal candidate would demonstrate the following,

A proven track record of Stock Management

Exposure to an engineering/manufacturing/technical setting

The ability to read engineering drawings and identify parts

The ability to take ownership of tasks/projects

Experience of using stock management systems

Excellent communication skills at all levels

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 28,000.00 per year
