Purpose of the role



We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Stock Controller to manage stock across the country including third-party depot locations. This pivotal role supports the wider supply chain by maintaining accurate visibility of stock movements, authorising repairs, and coordinating unit releases to meet operational and customer demands. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder relationship management, and a keen attention to detail to ensure stock is controlled efficiently and in line with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities



Demonstrate a strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment across functions. Analyse and maintain stock reports across the Depot network to support forecasting stock requirements in line with customer pipelines. Ensure stock profile information is regularly and accurately maintained across all systems and locations. Liaise with Third Party Depot to release containers providing clear instructions on timing, specifications, and relevant operational details. Coordinate with Depots to authorise repairs, ensure the correct units are released, and follow up to guarantee timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Monitor hire fleet availability, returns, and maintenance cycles on specific product ranges, Collaborate with internal teams and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth stock flow and operational readiness.

Strong proficiency in digital tools, including Microsoft Office, One Drive, and modern collaboration platforms. Comfortable learning and adapting to new technologies, systems, and processes quickly. Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records across all locations. Ensure timely release of units and completion of repairs in line with operational schedules. Support operational efficiency through proactive stock control and depot coordination.
