On A Roll Sandwich Company is a leading manufacturer of food to go products so as this is a manufacturing setting, the successful candidate would be required to work on site. What you will be doing



Responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and investigative support across all aspects of inventory management and the order fulfilment process. This includes maintaining accurate inventory records and performing a range of clerical and administrative duties. The role requires flexibility to work between office settings and temperature-controlled environments, including chilled, ambient, and freezer areas.

Key responsibilities include:



KPI checks: booking in, stock counting, labelling, stock rotation

Provide daily written and verbal feedback to various departments on stock control issues

Monitoring the utilisation of materials on site

Stock records maintenance on Stevens Traceability System / SGS System - accurate and regular stock check counts to maintain integrity

Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies - reportable to management teams

Constant review of fridge dry goods and packaging inventory

Responsible for cycle counts ensuring counts are completed on time and stock variances are reconciled

Ensure all stock discrepancies and issues are resolved within the timescale set out

Follow the process for damaged stock ensuring the system is updated

Investigate stock shortages when reported from the mixing kitchen ensuring the batch process is followed

Expediting purchase orders

Ensuring housekeeping is maintained to the highest standard to always improve efficiency and safety.

About you:



Strong understanding of materials control, purchase order processing, and logistics operations

Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments

Solid numeracy and literacy skills

Proficient in basic IT applications, including Microsoft and inventory management systems

Physically active role requiring manual handling of stock and safe use of ladders
