With over 50 years' experience in the logistics industry, McCulla Ireland are one of the country's leading providers of ambient, chilled, and frozen logistics solutions throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
We currently have Operating Centres across Northern Ireland and Ireland, with further plans for expansion. McCulla has over 300 employees working across our Transport, Warehousing, Customs, and Green Bioenergy operations. Our modern fleet of over 120 vehicles and 200 trailers operate a just-in-time service with environmental sustainability at the forefront of everything we do - making us unique in the market for our customers.
The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and analytical Stock Manager to take ownership of stock control operations across multiple sites. Reporting directly to the Head of Warehousing, you will work closely with the Warehouse Operations Managers to ensure stock integrity and operational efficiency are maximised.
This is a leadership role where you will lead Stock Control teams across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, maintaining stock accuracy, managing investigations, and driving continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in stakeholder engagement, developing strong working relationships with both internal and external partners.

About the role
Key Responsibilities
1. People Leadership
Lead, motivate, and support Stock Control teams across multiple sites.
Set clear objectives and monitor performance to ensure high standards are achieved.
Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to develop team capability.
Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
2. Stock & Inventory Management
Maintain accurate stock records across all sites, ensuring system figures match physical stock through regular checks and audits.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.
Analyse stock data to forecast requirements, optimise layouts, and improve efficiency.
Design and amend SOPs to ensure processes remain accurate, consistent, and compliant.
3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with the Warehouse Operations Managers to ensure operational efficiency and stock accuracy.
Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Produce accurate, timely reports to meet customer and business expectations.
4. Continuous Improvement & Compliance
Develop and implement inventory control models that support business growth.
Identify and deliver opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations.
Support sustainability initiatives and the adoption of technology to improve operations.
Requirements
Warehouse Knowledge: Strong understanding of warehousing principles, inventory processes, and operational best practices.
Systems Expertise: Highly computer literate, with experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and advanced Excel/reporting tools.
Analytical Skills: Strong numerical ability with experience in data analysis for forecasting and optimisation.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
Problem-Solving: A practical, solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to resolve challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
Adaptability: Resilient and flexible, able to adjust quickly to new information and evolving business needs.
Leadership: Results-driven with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop teams to consistently perform at their best.
Driving Licence: Full driving licence is essential due to the multi-site nature of the role
Terms & Benefits
Monday - Friday, Full Time Role.
40 hours per week with flexibility required (occasional weekend work to meet business needs).
Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 depending on experience.
