Job Description

Working closely with the Sales Management team your role will varied and challenging and will encompass all of the below

It is a chance to establish yourself and prosper in a major UK Lighting company

Experience in a merchandising role is preferred but not essential, as full training will be given

The role

Ability to interpret information & make decisions to maximise sales and stock efficiency.

Working with Key Account Managers and suppliers to ensure that customer forecasts and stock requirements are met, including reviewing those over or underperforming

Implementing and coordinating promotions

Overseeing and managing the critical path to ensure that new season launch dates are fully on time

Essential Skills:

Advance Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables/If Functions/SUMIF)

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a Merchandising preferred but not essential Previous experience in retail buying or planning would be an advantage An understanding of range planning, demand planning, forecasting, and stock management Excellent organisational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
