Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Stock Procurement Manager to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing hardware and associated licences across the organization particularly for onward sale. This role requires a strong understanding of hardware, vendor management, and procurement best practices.
What will you be doing day-to-day?
Develop and implement procurement strategies for stock and inventory across multiple categories. This should include onboarding new devices, managing existing and owning the end of life/service process with Product.
Monitor stock levels and forecast demand to ensure timely replenishment. Working with Product and Commercial to ensure stock is always available to avoid stock outs.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and service improvements
Manage the ELG, HP, Yealink and other stock processes, including monitoring stock levels, raising purchase orders, organising freight booking and monitoring delivery(sea and air)
Manage supplier relationships and performance, including regular reviews and audits. This should include QBR's, service review meetings and any security related meetings required from time to time.
Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, and finance teams to streamline procurement processes.
Analyse market trends and supply chain risks to inform purchasing decisions.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
Lead and mentor junior procurement staff, if applicable.
Work with finance to ensure all financial reporting is completed in a timely manner and stock audits are completed as and when required.
