Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Supervisor to oversee the inventory management, purchasing and stock control processes within our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels are maintained, inventory is accurately recorded, and that the stockroom operates efficiently. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities



Supervise and manage the daily operations of the stockroom, ensuring efficient stock handling and organisation. Using existing cloud-based stock software, monitor stock levels and conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain optimal stock levels and manage reordering processes. Liaise with Project Managers to ensure available stock to meet the requirements of customer projects. Liaise regularly with on-site operatives and subcontractors for stock usage, promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability. Implement best practices for inventory management, including safety protocols. Address any discrepancies in inventory records promptly and effectively. Prepare reports on stock levels, turnover rates, and other relevant metrics for the Financial Controller.

Qualifications



Previous experience in a supervisory role within a retail or warehouse environment is preferred. Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management. Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, participating in a team environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills. Ability to work flexible hours as required by business needs.

Pay: 25,880.00-30,539.90 per year
