We're looking for a

Stock Surveyor

to support the delivery of our rolling stock condition survey programme. This is your chance to make a real impact by helping us maintain and improve homes across our communities.


This is a full time role, working 37 hrs per week, Monday-Friday. This role is mobile covering areas in Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich and surrounding areas. A company vehicle will be provided.

What You'll be doing:

Conduct stock condition surveys, including property data collection and structural assessments. Estimate life cycles of major components during survey visits. Undertake Energy Performance Assessments and produce EPCs. Input data into our asset database and provide expert advice to colleagues and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations (e.g., HHSRS, Energy Performance of Buildings Regs 2012, Housing Act 2004, Decent Homes Standard).

What we are looking for:

Experience in identifying technical defects in domestic properties. Knowledge of EPC and stock condition surveying. Strong understanding of construction, sector legislation, and regulation. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills Five GCSEs (grades A-C or equivalent). Health and Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH or similar). Domestic Energy Assessor qualification (desirable). Full UK driving licence.
