Job Description

We are looking to recruit a skilled, knowledgeable and motivated stockperson on the diverse 1,400 acre estate in Surrey. The farm comprises of Pasture for Life certified Wagyu and Hereford cows, shoot, a large Countryside Stewardship agreement, commercial and residential lets. The role requires a positive, tidy, team player who is resourceful and open minded with a strong work ethic.
Duties will include:

• Day to day care of 50 suckler cows and followers.
• Assisting with the registering of livestock, movement licenses and husbandry records.
• Selecting animals for slaughter, calving, feeding.
• Other wider estate duties.

You will be:

• Well organised with attention to detail.
• Capable of working on own initiative or with small teams.
• Experienced in driving and maintaining farm machinery.
• Interested in regenerative principles and bale grazing would be desirable.
