Job Role: Stockroom & Shop floor Assistant



Reporting to: Store Manager



Location: ME+EM, Westbourne Grove



Contract type: Full time / 37.5 hours per week

About The role:


The Stockroom and Shop Floor Assistant ensures the effective completion of deliveries, recalls, stock counts and stock takes. You are responsible for ensuring the stockroom environment is well organised, safe and easy to navigate. You are confident in working independently and support all back office admin duties. You are also responsible for delivering an authentic and memorable service approach. You work well in a dynamic team environment, are a clear communicator, able to multitask and can adapt to high and low traffic patterns. Candidates must have the flexibility to work across 7 days a week, including weekends, with 7.5 hour shift working patterns.

Responsibilities:



Off floor operational tasks Expert in stock and till processes Prioritising merch actions when necessary Ensure deliveries are unpacked, checked, labelled and placed correctly in the areas. Ensure existing products are accurately labelled and placed correctly in the areas. Ensure the stockroom meets Health & Safety compliance. Stock is safely stored and broken ladders, stools etc are disposed of. Manage the stock inventory and stock movement process. Work alongside the Compliance and Training Coordinator. Embrace change and support the roll out of new systems. Prepare and steam the daily replenishment. Have a good understanding of the product range and style names. Attend all stock takes. Strong communication skills. Brand representative at all times Key contributor to store KPIs

Skills:



Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential. Attention to detail, organised and able to work at pace. Passion for retail, compliance, and organisation.
