Goose & Gander Ltd are looking for a diligent and organised
Stockroom Assistant
to join our retail team. This role is crucial for ensuring merchandise flows efficiently from our main storeroom to the shop floor, supporting both replenishment and requests from the sales team.Key Responsibilities:
Stock Replenishment:
Accurately move and organise stock from the main storeroom to designated shop floor storage areas, making sure products are readily available for sale.Sales Team Support:
Efficiently retrieve specific stock items from the in-store storeroom as requested by the sales team to fulfil customer needs and keep sales momentum going.Inventory Management:
Help with receiving, checking, and processing new deliveries, ensuring accurate stock counts and identifying any discrepancies.Organisation and Housekeeping:
Maintain a tidy, safe, and organised stockroom environment, sticking to all health and safety guidelines.Ad-hoc Duties:
Assist with other general duties as required to help the store run smoothly.Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in a retail stockroom or warehouse environment is essential. Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina, as the role involves lifting, carrying, and moving merchandise. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. A proactive and positive attitude.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
