Job Description

This is a part time position working in our stockroom. Contracted hours 27.5, working Monday to Friday 6pm till midnight, subject to change in September.

This position is based in our stockroom working as part of our stockroom team to accept and unpacking deliveries of stock including dry stock, water/drinks, high value products, alcohol, books etc. Accepting food deliveries, maintaining standards within the stockrooms including cleaning, date rotation, organisation, using a manual pump truck to move pallets, picking stock and occasionally supporting the shop floor. This role is very physical and will involve heavy lifting so good overall fitness is required.

As a Sales Assistant you'll provide exceptional customer service and work independently or as part of a team to deliver our fantastic store standards. We want you, our customers, and our colleagues to be proud to share their journey with us.

Airport Requirements:

5 years continuous references - to gain an airport pass you will need to provide 5 years' worth of either employment or education references without any gaps Criminal Records Bureau Check - to be completed by WHSmith if your application is successful Photographic ID i.e. passport or UK Driving Licence
