As a Stockyard and Despatch Coordinator, you will be responsible for through control of stock levels, costs, and rationalising inventory, you will improve our order efficiency and ensure we fulfil customer orders accurately and to deadline.
Specifically, some responsibilities of a Stockyard and Stockyard and Despatch Coordinator include:
Implementation of improvement processes and systems to manage inventory, minimise costs and maximise working capital.
Ensuring stock is well organised and controlled, supporting the accurate distribution and deliver to customer SLAs.
Management of product inventory, including vehicles and accessories through inventory stock counting and accuracy checks as well as regular and controlled stock takes.
Conduct quality control spot checks on orders.
Minimise overstocks, recycling obsolete/redundant stock.
Document departmental processes for internal and external use, communicating these throughout the business.
About you:
Already experienced within supply chain management, we're seeking attentive and organised individual who is quality focused and understands the value of the importance of accuracy. In addition, you'll have:
Ability to prioritise in a fast paced environment.
Long-term planning initiative.
High attention to detail and analytical skills.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent computer skills across all Microsoft products.
Full UK Driving License.
Experience within a manufacturing, or similar production environment, would be advantageous.
