We are seeking a highly organized and skilled

Stone Worktop Finisher

to join our growing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the finishing of bespoke quartz worktops in our Middlesbrough factory.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect fabricated quartz/stone worktops for defects, chips, or imperfections. Perform edge polishing, honing, and finishing to meet specified designs and customer requirements. Use hand tools and machinery such as wet polishers, grinders, and CNC machines to finish surfaces and edges. Profiling of special edge detail. Interpret and follow production job cards and digital work orders to ensure accurate execution of cutting, shaping, and finishing tasks. Ensure all pieces meet company quality standards before dispatch or installation. Collaborate with fabricators, installers, and designers to ensure product quality and client satisfaction. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety standards. Safely handle and move heavy stone pieces using appropriate lifting equipment. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience in the stone worktop fabrication industry would be advantageous, though we will consider training for capable individuals with experience of using hand tools from other industries.
