Shaw Stone Ltd is a leading supplier and installer of

luxury granite, quartz and porcelain worktops

for both residential and commercial projects across the South of England. We are currently seeking a

Fitters Mate

to join our friendly and experienced installation team.

About the Role:

As a Fitters Mate, you'll work alongside our main fitter assisting with the

installation of premium stone worktops

in customers' homes and on-site commercial projects. You'll also gain hands-on experience in our fabrication workshop, learning all aspects of stone preparation and finishing -- with the opportunity to progress into a

main fitter position

in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with loading, transporting and fitting stone worktops on-site Supporting the main fitter with cutting, polishing, and finishing tasks Maintaining tools and equipment to a high standard Ensuring work areas are clean, safe and professional at all times Delivering excellent customer service on-site

Requirements:

A strong work ethic and willingness to learn Good practical and teamwork skills Punctual and reliable Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential Previous experience in stone, kitchen or construction fitting

beneficial but not essential
