Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled brick and stone layer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and bricklaying, with the ability to work on various construction projects.

This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

You will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls, structures, and other surfaces using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials.

You will join our team on an ongoing job in Horsham until the completion of the project before moving onto an alternative site.

Duties;

Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials according to specifications and drawings .

Construct walls, arches, and other structures using appropriate techniques and tools.

Mix mortar and other bonding agents as required for various projects.

Ensure that all work complies with safety standards and regulations.

Perform repairs on existing brickwork and masonry structures as needed.

Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters and welders to complete projects efficiently.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including hand tools and power tools.

Follow instructions from supervisors regarding project specifications and timelines.

Skills;

Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and levels.

Experience with power tools relevant to the task.

Strong knowledge of masonry techniques including bricklaying.

Ability to read specifications and technical drawings accurately.

Familiarity with roofing techniques is an advantage

Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: 170.00-200.00 per day
