Store and Yard Person
An exciting opportunity has arisen with Grahams the Family Dairy for a Store and Yard Assistant to join the existing team, reporting to the Asset Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall functionality of the yard space.
Key Responsibilities
Driving the fork lift in the yard & store
Driving the manitou telescopic forklift
Stacking pallets / boxes
Using hand pallet trucks in store
Manual handling of boxes / pallets
Handling recycling materials - cardboard / plastics - using baler
Stock control - assisting with stock takes when required
Checking yard delivery's - signing for delivery's once checked
Loading and un-loading delivery's coming into the yard with external contractors
Assisting with the tidiness and cleanliness of the yard
Support duties in / around DAF plant
Qualifications and Experience
Forklift licence is preferred
Previous experience in a warehouse/stock control environment is preferred but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 47.5 per week
