We are currently recruiting for multiple positions within a busy and well-known high street department store, offering a dynamic working environment that combines retail and hospitality services.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals to join a supportive team and gain experience across multiple departments, including the in-store cafe, kitchens, and shop floor.

Available Roles & Key Responsibilities:

Catering Assistant

Assist with the preparation and service of hot and cold food and drinks Maintain cleanliness of the cafe and dining areas Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner Follow food hygiene and safety standards Assist with restocking food and beverage items as needed

Kitchen Porter

Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas Operate dishwashers and ensure all cookware is cleaned to standard Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with store policy Support chefs and catering staff as needed Adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines

Stock Replenishment

Restock shelves and displays on the shop floor Ensure products are properly rotated and front-facing Check dates and maintain high presentation standards Support with general tidiness and organisation in stock areas Provide assistance to customers if required

Hospitality Assistant :

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness in dining areas Provide accurate information and respond to guest requests Support daily operations and other team members as needed Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times
Shifts: Mainly daytime hours, weekend work may be required

What We're Looking For:

A positive, can-do attitude Reliability and strong timekeeping Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment Comfortable with both independent and team work Previous experience in retail or catering is a bonus, but not essential Training will be provided for all successful candidates
