Job Overview

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Store assistant's to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist in maintaining the store's visual standards and contribute to achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Provide knowledgeable information about products, promotions, and store policies. Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing store and warehouse environment. Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting stock checks. Maintain Health & Safety standards across the store and warehouse. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service experience within the DIY sector is preferred but not essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays as required. A positive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding service. Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Forklift experience would be advantageous for one of the positions available, however full training would be given upon a successful applicant.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
